Ivan Zavala

Acupuncturist with 9 years post-graduate clinical experience and advanced herbal medicine training. My diagnostic and treatment methods are primarily derived from Classical Chinese Medicine theory, of which I am strong proponent and educator. I was the Clinical Supervisor and Department Head of Clinical Theory and Advanced Diagnostic at Chicago College of Oriental Medicine. I taught foundational and advanced classes on herbalism and acupuncture methodologies and diagnostics, in which I developed an acupuncture and herbal curriculum centered on source based texts. I am currently a Clinical Mentor and Lecturer for Academy of Source Based Medicine, which I mentor practitioners around the world how to treat a variety of conditions, especially complex cases.
