Gary Xie, Doctor of TCM

He grew up in China’s northwest geographical center where he graduated from Gansu University of Chinese Medicine in Lanzhou in 1984. There, he studied both Western and Chinese medicine. CHINA 1984-2000 After excelling in medical school, Dr. Gary practiced in a large integrative teaching hospital in Lanzhou China, while also serving as a professor of Chinese medicine at Gansu University of Chinese Medicine. For approximately 16 years, Dr. Gary worked as a Doctor of Chinese Medicine in China Dr. Gary is a renowned acupuncturist. He helps patients of all ages with various injuries and conditions related to all major organs and systems. Dr. Gary consults with acupuncturists across the U.S. including the head of Chicago’s Cook County Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Because of his extraordinary expertise, acupuncture is a large part of Dr. Gary’s practice. As a herbalist, Dr. Gary has a broad understanding of pharmaceuticals and how all natural Chinese herbs and individually formulated teas can support and often replace drugs to avoid their side effects. Dr. Gary formulates teas and suggests Chinese herbs for patients of all ages with every type of medical condition. He works with oncologists and cancer patients.
